LevelOne’s FBR-1418TX is a high-performance Broadband Router with an integrated 4-port switch. Up to 4 workstations can be connected to this router by 4 Ethernet ports that support 10/100 Mbps data transfer rate and auto MDI/MDIX function. The device approaches the ISP by supporting multiple connections such as in static IP addresses, dynamic IP addresses, PPPoE connections and PPTP connections.
For the security concern, FBR-1418TX supports not only NAT firewall with SPI mode to protect the network against DoS attacks but also featured VPN function including IPSec, PPTP, L2TP pass through to prevent unwanted access by potential hackers. In order to keep up with changing technologies, web-based firmware upgrade is easily carried out.
With the Web-based management interface, system configuration and maintenance is not a problem for FBR-1418TX. By using a general browser, the menu will walk you through the whole configuration procedure. Those interfaces allow users to configure all advanced settings of the FBR-1418TX, including making access restrictions, setting administration and user passwords, and creating system logs from anywhere on the Internet. |
