Ideal for home and small offices, WAP-0008 easily stores, shares and backs up all your files, while also providing wireless access to the network and Internet. The storage bay accommodates a 3.5 inch SATA/IDE Hard Disk Drive (sold separately). The built-in IEEE 802.11g access point creates a wireless connection at speeds up to 54Mbps, great for streaming and sharing all types of multimedia files.

File Servers improve your work
Sometimes you need to access important documents when you’re away from the computer. WAP-0008 has a robust FTP server which allows you to create a “My Documents” folder and access its contents anywhere via an Internet connection. Not only is it a great backup solution, but it also gives you 24/7 access to files whenever you need them.

BitTorrent and Multimedia
WAP-0008 also has a built-in Download Scheduler that operates independently from your PC. Just load your file links in the User Interface and you can turn off your main PC, saving both power and wear and tear on the machine. The UPnP Media and iTunes servers allow you to share your video and music to other computers, media players or gaming consoles on the network so you don’t have to copy your entire library to each device.
