The LevelOne POH-2450 is a 19-inch 24-port PoE Midspan hub and is an ideal solution for SMB and Enterprise business that are looking for an advanced featured PoE injection network device. The LevelOne 24-Port PoE Midspan hub provides for greater flexibility and reduced installation costs with the deployment of PoE network devices.

By deploying a Midspan Hub into an existing LAN is an economical way to ensure that a stable power supply is always available to connected network powered devices in case of power failures.

Inject Power into the Network
The POH-2450 is fully complaint with the IEEE 802.3af standard and acts as a PoE injector panel between a network switch and PoE compliant network devices to provide power and data through Cat 5/e/6 Ethernet cables.

It is equipped with 48 10/100TX ports that are divided into two segments. The top row of 24 RJ-45 ports allow for data-input to the Midspan hub, while the bottom row of 24 RJ-45 PoE ports allow for data and power output through Cat 5/e/6 cabling to Network Powered Devices, such as IP Cameras, IP Phones and other PoE network devices. Power and data can be transferred through Cat 5/e/6 cabling up to 100 meters away from the Midspan Hub.

The Midspan hub provides full power 400 Watts distributed over 24 ports with 15.4 Watts at each port.

Optional Redundant Power Supply
The optional Managed Power Supply unit provides power supply redundancy to the POH-2450 in case of power failure. This unit provides an RS-232 interface for power monitoring.

Easy Network Management Interface
The POH-2450 has an easy to use User Interface that allows for quick configuration, device management and network management. It provides full CLI, SNMP and Web network management features, as well as PoE Intelligent Management support and IP managed secured access to hub management features. It further features E-mail notifications, DHCP client for IP address assignment, SNTP for hub clock synchronization and keeps a detailed system log.
