The Brennenstuhl range of multi-way socket outlets with surge suppressor and lightning protection fuse offer effective protection against power surges and high voltage peaks. Unless connected appliances like your PC, TV, Hifi, fax machine or other sensitive electric appliances are not effectively protected, severe damage will be unavoidable. Most dangerous are very high voltage peaks caused by starting heavy machinery or by indirect lightning strikes. Safety elements like varistors or gas conductors are essential parts in order to divert voltage surges within milli-seconds through the earth connection. No destructive voltage peaks will therefore be able to reach the interior of your sensitive electric appliances. The modern and high quality safety elements used by Brennenstuhl guarantee effective protection against power surges and indirect lightning strikes up to 30.000 Amps. Light indicating surge voltage is active. Illuminated 2-pole switch. With varying equipment, depending on type (see table).
